From Drought to Divine Breakthrough

Introduction
We are stirred to grow stronger in our faith and more faithful in our service, honouring the leaders God has placed among us, including Apostle Samuel Jesse, and giving thanks for their labour in the Lord 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13. As we reflect on biblical examples of boldness, we see that courage flows from intimacy with God and revelation of who He is. Like Joshua, who was strengthened by God’s promise to be with him Joshua 1:8–9, we understand that bold faith is built in God’s presence. As we keep the right company, we grow wiser and stronger, for “he that walketh with wise men shall be wise” Proverbs 13:20.
We are reminded through testimonies of God’s faithfulness that faith is essential for a miraculous walk with Christ, because without faith it is impossible to please Him Hebrews 11:6. Even when seasons feel dry, we hold on to God’s promise that He will send rain again 1 Kings 18:41. We declare the end of drought and the beginning of divine perfection in our lives, trusting that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion Philippians 1:6. As we actively exercise our faith, we step into transformation, blessing, and the fulfilment of every promise God has spoken over us.
What is the main call to the church?
We are encouraged to do better in praising and appreciating the wonders of Jesus, refusing to become familiar with His goodness. Scripture reminds us to “enter his gates with thanksgiving” Psalm 100:4, and we recognise that gratitude keeps our hearts alive and expectant. When we magnify Christ, we shift our focus from problems to His power.
As we lift Him higher, our faith grows stronger. Praise is not routine; it is a declaration that Jesus is still working wonders among us Psalm 34:3. Through intentional praise, we position ourselves for breakthrough.
What significance do birthdays carry?
We see birthdays as prophetic markers—moments that signal new seasons and divine shifts. They remind us that God has preserved us for purpose and promise Jeremiah 29:11.
As we celebrate another year, we expect unusual favour and breakthroughs. We declare that our times are in God’s hands Psalm 31:15, and each new year carries fresh grace.
Why is intimacy with God essential for boldness?
We understand that boldness flows from time spent in God’s presence. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us James 4:8, strengthening our confidence.
Like the early disciples who were recognised as having been with Jesus Acts 4:13, we become empowered and transformed through intimacy. Presence produces bold faith.
How does revelation strengthen boldness and faith?
We grow in boldness when we truly know who God is and who we are in Him. Revelation removes fear and builds assurance that God stands with us Romans 8:31.
As our understanding deepens, our faith becomes unshakeable. We walk confidently because the Spirit reveals truth to our hearts Matthew 16:17.
What role does association play in our growth?
We recognise that the company we keep shapes our faith. Walking with the wise makes us wise Proverbs 13:20, and godly relationships strengthen our conviction.
When we surround ourselves with faithful people, our boldness increases. Right associations push us forward rather than pulling us back 1 Corinthians 15:33.
Why must faith be practised?
We learn that faith must be exercised consistently. Just as muscles grow through use, faith grows through action and obedience James 2:17.
Without faith it is impossible to please God Hebrews 11:6, so we practise trusting Him daily, allowing our spiritual strength to mature.
What example illustrates boldness through revelation?
We look to Joshua, whose courage came from God’s promise and revelation. The Lord commanded him to be strong and courageous Joshua 1:9.
Because Joshua knew God was with him, he stepped forward confidently. Revelation of God’s presence produces fearless leadership.
What promise is declared about the church’s future?
We hold on to the declaration that enlargement is coming. Just as God calls us to enlarge the place of our tent Isaiah 54:2, we prepare for greater capacity.
We trust that God will establish and expand His work among us, exceeding what we can imagine Ephesians 3:20.
What is declared concerning drought?
We declare that seasons of drought are ending. Just as Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain 1 Kings 18:41, we believe dry places will flourish again.
God promises to pour water on thirsty ground Isaiah 44:3. We move from dryness into divine breakthrough, confident that restoration has begun.
